I’m delighted to announce the launch of the electronic edition of Mark Z. Danielewski’s novel Only Revolutions, featuring more than three hundred “Road Sign” annotations I wrote with Noam Assayag.
The Road Signs delve into the novel’s themes, formal structures, and allusions. They are hyperlinked, allowing readers to trace alternate routes through the text as they follow different tropes or explore themes like identity and freedom.
The eBook also includes original music by Christopher O’Riley, forewords by Sarah Shun-lien Bynum and Michael Robbins, and a new, scrolling layout of the text that takes advantage of the digital medium.
